Cooperative marketing is intended to occur on many fronts between Handango, Palm, and the Palm OS development community. Palm will highlight application software in its popular email newsletters. The parties also intend to engage in market research, post-sales software promotions, and developer outreach.
The Software Connection website is where users of Palm OS based devices go to access and download software; to date, more than 18 million Palm OS devices have been sold worldwide. The website is a convenient, one-stop shop that groups the software into categories so users can easily locate what they need. They can select from a range of more than 12,000 professional or personal software applications using the new advanced search tool, making software applications and solutions easier to locate and purchase.
